Thumbs Up Therapy Welcomes Rho Evelyn to the team

Thumbs Up Therapy are pleased to announce that they have welcomed new Senior Speech & Language Therapist, Rhodante Evelyn, to the team.

Rho is from Barbados and has called Singapore home since 2018. She is an advocate for Speech and Language Therapy and has a special interest in working with children that use Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) to communicate.

Rho is a passionate clinician that follows a family centered and strength based therapeutic approach. She believes that family members are an integral ally when supporting children with speech and language difficulties. She believes in supporting and empowering everyone in a child’s life and works closely with families and teachers.

Rho has gained clinical experience working with children with a wide range of developmental needs such as Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disability. She has worked in a wide variety of pediatric settings including- Mainstream and Special education schools, Private practice, and has been the Assistant Lead of an Early Intervention Program (EIP).
