We warmly welcome to our team, Joanna Lim, Senior Speech Therapist, and Laikien Daggett, Senior Occupation Therapist.
Joanna is from Singapore and graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology.
She has worked in special education schools, private practices and home based settings, building expertise in paediatric clinical care of children with different needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), global developmental delay (GDD) , speech and language delay/disorders, and articulation issues. Joanna can provide therapy in both English and Chinese.
Joanna believes that every child is a unique individual with their strengths and potential. With a child-led approach and holistic collaboration with all stakeholders, we can bring out the best in every child.
Laikien is from the USA and completed her Master of Occupational Therapy Practice at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia.
She has over 5 years of experience working as an occupational therapist and has worked with children with different needs such as ASD, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, developmental delays, and many more.
Passionate about her role as a therapist. She believes that therapy should be fun and engaging. She aims to work with the child and family in setting goals and choosing therapy tasks to achieve those goals. She works under a strengths based and family-centred approach to best support the child and family in achieving their goals.
